To strengthen the Creative Team at our Amsterdam headquarters, we are seeking a Dutch- and English-speaking Copywriter (Maternity Cover) with a hands-on approach. In this role, your daily work will include localising English brand campaign copy to Dutch, writing and editing copy for SEO blogs, product descriptions and (automated) CRM and CX email flows in English and Dutch. From print advertisements, website banners and feature pages to video subtitles, press releases and social media, every piece of copy needs its own special treatment. You will report to our Lead Copywriter to accurately translate English master copy into Dutch, write engaging copy that activates and converts and ensure our tone of voice is consistent across all channels.

We’re looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, great organisational skills, and the ability to work confidently to deadlines. Most importantly, you’re a true team player who positively contributes to the dynamic of our international team.

What you'll do

• Translate English master copy to Dutch;

• Create English & Dutch copy for different projects across online & offline touchpoints: e.g. Ecom, SEO, CRM, CX, Retail;

• Create product description copy;

• Refresh our website content;

• Oversee the localisation/translation of the master copy to the different MR MARVIS markets through our translation agency.
  

What you'll bring

• 3-5 years of copywriting experience with a solid portfolio of work, either within an in-house creative studio or an agency;

• A particular affinity for the Dutch language;

• Fluency in Dutch & English, additional languages are a plus;

• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, flow, grammar, and tone of voice;

• Proven ability to write ECOM, CRM & SEO copy;

• Ability to work independently or with a team to meet deadlines;

• Full-time availability (40 hours p.w.);

• Excellent organisational skills and multitasking ability.
