We are looking for a Team Lead Accounting who is as meticulous about numbers as we are about the fit of our garments. You’ll be the backbone of our General Ledger, ensuring our financial foundation is as solid as our brand.

As our Team Lead Accounting, you don’t just ''do'' the books; you master them. You’ll lead the charge during closing periods, mentor our rising talent, and act as the gatekeeper of financial integrity. Whether we are launching a new flagship store in Paris or streamlining our internal controls, you’re the one ensuring every entry is marvellous.

What you'll do

• The Closing Master: Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes for Accounting. You’ll ensure our trial balance is timely, accurate, and ready for reporting purposes.

• Coach the Team: Perform reviews of work from our Junior and Medior GL Accountants. You’re the mentor who ensures our data quality stays top-notch.

• Fixed Asset Management: Take full ownership of the Fixed Asset register and oversee depreciation. You’ll also ensure our Lease Liability postings are perfectly tailored.

• Complexity Specialist: Handle the heavy lifting of prepayments, deferred expenses, and the preparation of year-end audit files.

• Continuous Improvement: We don’t settle for "good enough." You’ll identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and automation within the department.

• Control & Compliance: Maintain a rigorous balance sheet reconciliation process and ensure we’re always in line with internal financial policies.

• Audit Partner: Act as the main point of contact from Accounting for external auditors, making the annual audit process as smooth as our organic cotton.
  

What you'll bring

• Experience: You have several years of experience in GL accounting, preferably in a fast-growing retail or e-commerce environment.

• Analytical thinking: You have an eye for detail and a passion for data integrity.

• Proactive approach: You don’t wait for a problem to arise; you’re already building the solution.

• Natural Coaching: You enjoy sharing knowledge and helping team members grow.

• Fluentcy in Finance: You’re well-versed in accounting standards and love a clean reconciliation.
